emdr therapy is especially effective for those who have experienced trauma, whether it be from a single event or a series of experiences. it is also beneficial for those who suffer from anxiety, depression, phobias, and other emotional disturbances.

I know how frustrating that feels, to have "lost" something from the way you used to be and to not know what it is exactly, that you've lost - to feel incomplete in some way and to not have the words to describe exactly what you are experiencing. I've helped hundreds of people, who have been in the same situation. Many have told me that I am the first therapist, who has actually helped them.
I know that making that initial phone call is a difficult thing to do, but don't give up just yet. All therapies are not equal. Most of my clients tell me after only a few short months that they no longer need my help, and this is my aim as a therapist - to give you the tools you need to fly solo. Ms. Kelly is a seasoned therapist with over 25 years of experience. Her background includes working in psychiatric hospitals, private practice and crisis intervention. The populations she has supported are of all ethnicities and ages (as young as 8 months old). Her modalities are eclectic. Examples include Guided Imagery, CBT, Faith-Based, Solution Focused, Insight and Mindfulness, along with others as appropriate.
Being Trauma-Certified, well-versed in relational healing and seasoned in family of origin work are just a few of her many assets.
Due to her own recovery from agoraphobia, she has much empathy and compassion, offering hope to individuals who are hurting.

With empathic yet honest communication, I support adolescents and adults, taking advantage of the Socratic method and person-centered and eclectic therapies in session. I take a Christian perspective but am comfortable counseling individuals of all faiths. My specialty populations include couples, college students and those suffering from anxiety.
It is my belief that every human deserves to feel safe, cared for, understood and respected. It would be an honor to collaborate with you in doing my part in helping to make that happen.
